This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee and sustain Well & Seismic data management services for clients, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Assist Subsurface and Exploration teams in upholding data integrity, workflows, and accessibility within the Subsurface and Exploration product line.
• Manage client needs related to Exploration and Geological Well & Seismic data, encompassing data receipt, conversion, transfer, quality assurance, and archiving.
• Ensure conformity with Information and Samples Retention and Reporting requirements.
• Coordinate initiatives for compliance enhancement across client databases and develop and execute Information and Samples Plans (ISPs).
• Act as a primary liaison between the Geoscience community and Data Management teams.
• Supervise the acquisition, storage, integration, and optimization of subsurface data.
• Perform data quality evaluations, enforce standards, and guarantee synchronization across projects and corporate repositories.
• Provide well & seismic data management services for Exploration & Production applications and maintain corporate databases.
• Regularly update and maintain data inventories, applying established standards for consistency and optimization.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing subsurface data within exploration and production environments.
• Experience with data management in the Petrel environment; familiarity with Landmark, Kingdom, and other technical applications is a plus.
• Comprehensive understanding of upstream business operations, with extensive knowledge of data management concepts, standards, practices, tools, and technologies.
• Knowledge of data lifecycle management and regulatory compliance, including experience with the UK National Data Repository.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
• A degree in Geosciences, Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in Information Systems with G&G data.
