Lead – Data & Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take complete ownership of the Reporting function.

• Lead the Data & Reporting team with full accountability.

• Evaluate technical solutions prior to delivery.

• Mentor team members and set coding and reporting standards.

• Prioritize tasks based on their business impact.

• Cultivate a deep understanding of business workflows and data across various modules.

• Comprehend how data transitions between different systems.

• Identify the downstream reporting effects when application modifications occur.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering Leads, QA, Product, and Business teams.

• Engage independently with Client Account Managers and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.

• Provide timely updates, communicate potential risks, and manage stakeholder expectations.

• Analyze incoming requests and conduct effort estimation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in Data & Reporting.

• Previous experience leading a reporting or BI team.

• Experience working directly with enterprise clients.

• Strong hands-on proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write, optimize, and review complex queries.

• Experience with SSRS report development and maintenance.

• Familiarity with Power BI dashboards and reporting.

• Good understanding of Azure Functions and Azure Data Factory (ADF).

• Solid grasp of relational databases, data models, and reporting architecture.

• Capability to troubleshoot data discrepancies and conduct root cause analysis.

• Experience working with extensive transactional datasets.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
