Substation Protection & Control Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Creation and preparation of Protection and Control Drawings: Protective Schemes, Substation Relay One Lines and Three Lines, AC/DC Schematics, Substation Panel Layouts, Substation Wiring Diagrams and Cable Schedules, SCADA and Communication Diagrams.

• Development of Equipment Specifications and Selection based on Client Criteria.

• Generation of Bill of Materials according to Design Criteria.

• Collaboration with physical, settings, and drafting teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Translating vendor information into design deliverables.

• Offering field support during construction phases.

• Ensuring adherence to the company’s Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes across all design packages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ideally in electrical or computer engineering.

• Over 3 years of experience in protection and controls.

• More than 3 years of experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
