Substation Physical Designer – Inventor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Creation and preparation of substation drawings.

• Develop various substation plans, including One Line and Three Line diagrams, Grounding Plans, Control Cubicle Layouts, and more.

• Generate Bills of Materials based on Design Criteria.

• Collaborate with physical, protection & controls, and drafting disciplines.

• Engage in client meetings and conduct site visits as necessary.

• Ensure adherence to the company’s Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate’s degree in Drafting/Design or a related field. (One year of experience in drafting coursework or equivalent technical experience may be considered in lieu of one year of education.)

• Over 2 years of experience in substation design utilizing Inventor.

• More than 2 years of experience in substation design with 3D, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and MicroStation.
