Substation Physical Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation of distribution substation projects operating at voltages ranging from 12kV to 69kV.

• Create and prepare substation schematics, including: Substation One Line and Three Line diagrams, Station General Arrangements & Sections, Grounding Plans & Details, and more.

• Engage in ongoing enhancement of job-related engineering, technical, and professional expertise, skills, and performance.

• Provide mentorship and direction to junior designers.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate’s degree in Drafting/Design or a related discipline.

• Over 2 years of experience in substation design utilizing Inventor 3D, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and MicroStation.
