This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Franchise Owners, architects, consultants, and local authorities to facilitate the establishment of new Primrose schools.
• Act as Primrose's design and entitlement specialist, ensuring each project adheres to brand standards.
• Lead the design efforts for assigned development projects, guaranteeing alignment with Primrose brand standards, prototype specifications, and operational requirements.
• Work in partnership with Franchise Owners to evaluate plans, address design issues, and preserve the intended school experience.
• Assist Franchise Owners in navigating development requirements, helping them overcome challenges and make well-informed decisions.
• Track project timelines and key milestones, identifying potential risks and ensuring projects stay on schedule.
• Travel to development locations to meet with Franchise Owners, inspect project sites, and support effective project execution.
• A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least five years of experience in franchise, retail, restaurant, multi-unit, or commercial development.
• Preferred experience working directly with Franchise Owners, owner-developers, or multi-unit operators.
• Strong knowledge of design development, construction documentation, and development procedures.
• Familiarity with entitlement, zoning, permitting, and municipal approval processes.
• Capability to review plans, pinpoint issues, and propose viable solutions.
• Experience in interpreting due diligence reports, site studies, and development documentation.
• Strong skills in relationship-building and stakeholder management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities at the same time.
• Proficient in project scheduling and collaboration tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
