This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.
• Develop and implement logistics category strategies for 1–3 years that align with business objectives such as growth, innovation, ESG (including Scope 3), and comprehensive supply chain goals.
• Create and execute category roadmaps featuring short‑, medium‑, and long‑term initiatives to unlock value across supply and demand levers.
• Utilize strategic frameworks (e.g., Kraljic Matrix, Porter’s Five Forces) to analyze market dynamics, cost drivers, and supplier positioning.
• Foster cross‑divisional synergies within Packaging, Paper, and Recycling.
• Serve as a trusted business partner to Supply Chain, Operations, and senior leadership in the region.
• Align stakeholders around procurement strategies within a matrix organization.
• Lead change management and communication efforts to effectively implement new commercial solutions.
• Track logistics market trends, economic developments, and supplier capabilities to enhance sourcing timing and results.
• Formulate supplier strategies that proactively identify and mitigate risks (e.g., capacity, financial stability, compliance, ESG, data security).
• Oversee end‑to‑end tendering and sourcing processes, including intricate, multi‑country negotiations.
• Collaborate with Legal and business stakeholders to establish a comprehensive framework and project contracts.
• Manage and optimize the regional logistics supplier base using a clearly defined segmentation model.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Extensive experience in logistics procurement, preferably in transport and/or warehousing services.
• Demonstrated capability to lead category strategies, tenders, and complex negotiations from start to finish.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience in a matrix organization.
• Strong understanding of logistics markets, cost drivers, and supplier risk factors.
