This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assess the standards and domains encompassed in the CBCS examination.
• Suggest the organization and order of standards, course competencies, and objectives.
• Evaluate course materials to detect gaps, outdated information, and areas for enhancement.
• Specify key themes, terminology, levels of knowledge, and real-world examples or scenarios that reflect contemporary industry practices.
• Confirm the precision, alignment, and significance of course content, multimedia resources, and assessments.
• Deliver clear, actionable feedback and address content-specific inquiries throughout the course development process.
• A Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a similar discipline.
• Current or recent professional experience in medical billing and coding.
• Familiarity with CBCS exam domains and standards.
• Availability to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week for the project duration.
• Experience in reviewing or contributing to instructional materials, training resources, or related documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of providing clear, specific feedback in an asynchronous environment.
• This position is a remote, part-time, hourly, 1099 independent contractor opportunity.
• Contractors can anticipate contributing around 10 or more hours each week throughout the project period.
• Contractors enjoy the flexibility to manage their work schedule, as long as deadlines, quality standards, and agreed deliverables are fulfilled.
