Coder Professional – 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Review and validate assigned encounters to ensure appropriate EM code level selection by providers.

• Support physicians with their documentation requirements.

• Train physicians and ancillary personnel on proper documentation for the coding process.

• Assign codes for all types of encounters as designated.

• Maintain data accuracy to maximize reimbursement opportunities.

• Conduct follow-ups on encounters and rectify any rejected or denied encounters.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma.

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC).

• Certified Coding Associate (CCA).

• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).

• Certified Evaluation & Management Auditor.

• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).

• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
