Subject Matter Expert, Insurance – German Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with teams specializing in AI, data science, and product development to assess AI models utilized in underwriting, claims processing, risk evaluation, and pricing strategies.

• Detect gaps, biases, and limitations within current models while providing domain insights for enhancements.

• Validate AI results against practical insurance practices, regulatory standards, and customer experience criteria.

• Establish key metrics and success indicators to evaluate model performance and its relevance to business objectives.

• Facilitate data labeling and annotation by offering insurance-specific context and expertise.

• Aid in the development of explainable AI frameworks to improve model transparency and build trust.

• Keep abreast of insurance regulations, compliance requirements, and the latest AI applications in the industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the German language at an advanced level.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Business, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in the insurance sector, particularly in underwriting, claims, risk modeling, or product management.

• Strong comprehension of insurance operations, policy frameworks, and regulatory standards.

• Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
