Subcontracts Closeout Specialist – Procurement Analyst 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the subcontract closeout process for designated projects by collaborating with Program Managers, Project Controllers, Accounts Payable, Subcontract Administrators, Buyers, and external Suppliers to finalize expired subcontracts and purchase orders.

• Compile subcontractor closeout documentation, negotiate final settlement amounts with subcontractors, and issue and monitor de-obligation modifications in Costpoint and CLM.

• Ensure that closeout files adhere to compliance standards with the necessary documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience paired with a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field.

• A High School Diploma or equivalent combined with 7 years of relevant experience.

• Basic knowledge of government contracting and project accounting.

• Proficient in essential computer applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with Costpoint is an advantage.

• Ability to adapt and maintain enthusiasm while working with frequently changing priorities.

• Excellent attention to detail, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; capable of managing priorities and workflow effectively.

• Demonstrated capability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
