This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support the Student Accounts Manager in overseeing, assessing, and enhancing departmental business operations.
• Evaluate student accounts and reconcile award years.
• Advise students on document submission, awarding, disbursement, withdrawals, payment plans, financial obligations, re-entry policies, and student financing procedures.
• Examine post-withdrawal disbursement and R2T4 processes and calculations.
• Review and finalize Regent tasks and documentation to confirm students are Ready to Package.
• Address student account inquiries and conduct quality assurance assessments.
• Resolve escalated student issues and disputes.
• Collaborate with Enrollment Services, Student Services, Accounting, Collections, Strategic Partnerships, along with other departments.
• Develop strategies to assist students in settling outstanding account balances.
• Handle invoicing inquiries from students and employers who provide tuition assistance.
• Reconcile accounts and send invoices to students and employers.
• Create processes for specialized invoicing.
• Monitor funds received, invoiced totals, and future invoicing requirements.
• Coordinate student ledger activities with other departments.
• Supervise billing and payment processes and schedule agency payments.
• Review Letters of Credit, Vouchers, and Course Approvals.
• Analyze NSLDS, COD, and CPS data to assess student eligibility.
• Conduct third-party reconciliations.
• Manage departmental User Acceptance Testing for system updates.
• Generate invoices for students and third-party agencies.
• Create ad hoc reports and participate in workgroups.
• Oversee assigned accounts, manage workload priorities, achieve account resolution objectives, and deliver customer service.
• Address accounts receivable balances and communicate collection efforts to students.
• Prepare, review, and respond to account aging and student activity reports.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning gained through experience is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is essential.
• Familiarity with Title IV federal regulations is advantageous.
• Preferred experience with student information systems.
• Required experience in higher-education finance.
• Strong attention to detail along with excellent mathematical and critical thinking abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and accurately prioritize responsibilities in a high-volume setting.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to convey detailed financial information via phone.
• Customer service experience is necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
