Structural Packaging, Retail Display Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Provide temporary promotional packaging materials and pre-packed retail merchandise vehicles that can endure supply chain handling while satisfying customer and stakeholder expectations.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with colleagues, vendors, and factories while leading structural design in multidisciplinary teams.

• Create innovative, structurally robust, and cost-effective pre-packed merchandise vehicles that highlight product features, boost trial and sales, and enhance brand recognition.

• Oversee formal shipping tests for products, packaging materials, structural integrity, and assembly compatibility within the retail supply chain.

• Suggest ongoing enhancements to existing POP vehicles through reductions in material/labor and structural advancements.

• Assist MDO Merchandising Specialists throughout the display development process, from concept to manufacturing, co-packing, and deployment.

• Manage ideation, project development, specification generation, vendor oversight, shipping tests, and travel to co-packers for start-up operations.

• Collaborate with Brand, Sales, Project Managers, external Structural Designers, Graphic Designers, Internal Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Vendor Partners.

• Engage in hands-on work, multitask, adjust priorities, communicate effectively, and travel as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in structural corrugated design, including knowledge of corrugated materials and secondary packaging.

• Proficient with MS Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel.

• Familiar with web-based tools.

• Strong multitasking abilities and adaptability to changing priorities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness and availability to travel, often on short notice.

• Availability from Monday to Friday.

• Capacity to travel up to 20% of the time.
