This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct both outbound and inbound calls as a specialist with advisors.

• Each call should introduce a concept, strengthen a relationship, or progress a specific opportunity.

• Share ownership of a designated territory alongside an SVP, Wealth Solutions.

• Develop and implement the territory's business plan, advisor coverage model, and sales strategy.

• Independently host virtual meetings with advisors.

• Provide virtual support for advisor meetings alongside the paired SVP when in-person attendance is not possible.

• Lead discussions on investment strategies including DST, QOZ, and Developmental Real Estate, focusing on the tax and planning context that influences advisor decisions.

• Qualify and move advisor interest through the sales pipeline.

• Determine an advisor's position in their diligence process and establish a clear next step during each call.

• Manage the follow-up process for every advisor interaction, including follow-up calls, materials sent, scheduled next touchpoints, and logging CRM entries within 24 hours.

• Implement call and email campaigns to meet the firm’s strategic goals.

• Sustain the outreach schedule for advisors who are not yet engaged.

• Prepare the SVP for field meetings: be familiar with the advisor’s history, previous discussions, pipeline status, and outstanding items prior to the SVP's arrival.

• Organize and oversee the territory calendar, advisor rotation, and rankings.

• Attend meetings within the territory, which may include occasional travel for one-on-one and group sessions with advisors.

• Record all advisor calls, meetings, and territory activities in Salesforce/CRM within 24 hours.

• Keep opportunity stages, contact records, and advisor profiles up to date.

• Maintain extensive and current knowledge of all active Griffin strategies.

• Analyze and comprehend competitor offerings to identify the positioning of Griffin’s solutions.

• Stay informed about broader financial markets, commercial real estate, and alternative investment trends.

• Collaborate with the team to create presentations, white papers, and other marketing materials.

• Assist in resolving escalated client service issues as needed.

• Comply with all regulatory and company guidelines, including the use of approved materials, documentation standards, and necessary licensing and continuing education.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of internal or external wholesaling or sales experience in a financial services firm.

• One to three years of relevant experience in alternative investments.

• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong sales acumen with a drive and capability to generate sales opportunities.

• Must exhibit confidence, persuasiveness, and credibility in both phone and in-person interactions.

• High level of proficiency in product knowledge, competitive landscape, industry trends, and Capital Markets, with the ability to effectively communicate this knowledge to clients.

• Exceptional relationship management, influencing, and interpersonal skills to foster and sustain collaborative partnerships.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for engaging with key partners, preparing and presenting sales materials, providing technical product information, and developing sales presentations.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, Microsoft Copilot) is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in CRM systems.

• Salesforce and Salesforce Mapping Tool experience are required.

• SIE, Series 7, and 63 licenses are mandatory.

• CFA, CAIA, or CFP credentials are ideal but not required.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings with advisors.
