Strategy & Business Development Executive – Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement customer acquisition strategies for leading transformation initiatives within the (Army, Navy, or Air Force), identifying key funded priorities, generating demand, and acting as an advocate for Salesforce's capabilities and proven success within the service.

• Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers for essential business support systems.

• Collaborate with Regional Sales Leadership, Strategic Account Executives, and Solution Engineers to establish a clear vision and transformation roadmap for our clients.

• Assist in nurturing and advancing opportunities in partnership with account teams and solution delivery partners until contract award and successful program execution.

• Provide a comprehensive business development strategy aimed at top government executives and transformation sectors where Salesforce can add significant value.

• Create and promote the narrative and perspective on how Salesforce can facilitate the transformation of the service mission.

• Engage with product development and marketing teams to influence Public Sector product direction and tailor sales strategies for specific country needs.

• Over 15 years of senior-level experience in the [Service].

• Demonstrated success with transformation initiatives and a solid grasp of processes related to specific mission areas.

• Enthusiastic about leveraging digital technology to enhance the operator experience.

• Excellent external networking and internal collaboration abilities.

• Unwavering commitment to translating strategy into execution, measured by customer success and revenue impact.

• Effective communicator, both in writing for business case articulation and verbally for presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
