This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Create, develop, and sustain data models, dashboards, and reporting systems that provide the commercial organization with clear, reliable visibility across the entire commercial funnel.
• Integrate AI tools into your analytical processes — enhancing insight generation, elevating output quality, and freeing up resources for more complex problem-solving tasks.
• Conduct comprehensive analytical projects to uncover patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within commercial data, transforming results into clear and actionable recommendations for commercial stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor KPIs that reflect both business results and the efficiency of the processes that drive them, fostering a continuous improvement feedback loop.
• Take charge of preparation and follow-up for critical internal meetings, strategic reviews, and cross-functional discussions — ensuring that the appropriate data is presented and decisions lead to clear next steps.
• Develop the analytical structures that support quarterly planning, forecasting, and target-setting, producing deliverables that commercial leaders can directly utilize.
• Analyze, challenge, and redesign core commercial workflows — including pipeline management, forecasting schedules, and sales incentive frameworks — into cleaner, quicker, and more scalable operational practices.
• Execute operational enhancements from start to finish: not only designing the solution but also driving its adoption and rigorously measuring its impact.
• Recognize where AI can fundamentally transform commercial processes, then build and implement those solutions directly.
• Gain a hands-on understanding of our commercial technology stack, identifying areas of friction, data loss, or missed opportunities.
• Convert commercial challenges into well-defined briefs that Product and Engineering teams can act upon, possessing enough technical fluency to engage as a true peer in those discussions.
• Over 2 years of experience in data analytics, sales operations, strategy & operations, or a related analytical or commercial role.
• Proficient in SQL and experienced with BI and data tools such as Looker, Tableau, or BigQuery.
• A proven history of building solutions — including data models, dashboards, process frameworks, and operational tools — rather than merely recommending them.
• Strong commercial instincts combined with robust analytical skills, comfortable transitioning between strategic discussions and hands-on development.
• Authentic enthusiasm for AI and a consistent practice of using it to enhance and expedite personal work, with a willingness to apply it to the operations of a commercial organization.
• Experience collaborating across functions with Product and/or Engineering teams, with sufficient technical fluency to engage effectively in those discussions.
• First-principles thinking — questioning assumptions, rigorously testing processes, and consistently asking why something operates as it does.
• A proactive attitude, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to excel in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
