Strategic Sourcing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Overseeing supplier relationships related to administrative and operational tasks and challenges.

• Ensuring adherence to contracting and procurement standards.

• Providing support to the client as well as the Sourcing and Facility Management teams.

• Facilitating communication, coordination, and execution of local and regional sourcing strategies.

• Acting as the primary procurement contact for field and property management staff.

• Managing transition strategies for both local and regional contracts.

• Ensuring compliance with sourcing and contracting policies and procedures.

• Supervising the maintenance and improvement of the central contract database.

• Cultivating supplier relationships with an emphasis on managing supplier performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent professional experience.

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and analytical capabilities.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficient in all Microsoft applications with excellent PC skills.
