Strategic Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate sourcing activities, which encompass market analysis, supplier identification, development of RFPs, supplier assessments, negotiations, and recommendations for contract awards.

• Work in collaboration with Legal, TPRM, Security, Finance, and business stakeholders to negotiate and finalize commercial agreements.

• Utilize procurement technologies, such as NetSuite and Zip, to effectively manage the category supply base, track spending, oversee the renewal pipeline, and uncover savings opportunities.

• Actively manage contract renewal processes through quarterly discussions with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of category initiatives with business needs.

• Enhance category expenditures by engaging early and fostering strong partnerships with essential stakeholders.

• Oversee supplier relationships, including conducting performance evaluations and addressing instances of contractual non-compliance as necessary.

• Collaborate with Procurement leadership to promote transformation initiatives, adopt best practices, and encourage stakeholder engagement with procurement systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in procurement.

• Capability to pass the necessary background check.

• Proven track record of achieving annual hard savings.

• Comprehensive knowledge of indirect procurement category management.

• Experience in leading sourcing projects across various indirect categories.

• Proficiency in managing complex supplier negotiations that involve pricing, commercial terms, risk, and service-level agreements.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management.

• Expertise in spend analysis and procurement analytics.
