Strategic Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee procurement activities across essential business categories such as Upfitters, OEMs, Auto dealers, Transportation, Storage, Maintenance & repair, IT, Marketing, Automotive services, and related fields.

• Formulate and implement sourcing and procurement strategies tailored to specific categories.

• Evaluate market trends, supplier capabilities, risks, and opportunities within the automotive and fleet management sectors.

• Establish and nurture strong supplier relationships while negotiating competitive pricing, contracts, and service agreements.

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to synchronize procurement strategies with business objectives.

• Continuously assess and enhance the supplier base for quality, innovation, and cost efficiency.

• Track supplier performance against KPIs and contractual standards.

• Lead contract negotiations and ensure adherence to company policies and standards.

• Project budget impacts and contribute to the overall financial performance objectives.

• Remain updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and supplier innovations.

• Employ procurement systems and tools to oversee sourcing activities, contracts, renewals, and reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

• Procurement or supply chain certification is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience as a Category Manager or in a similar procurement position within the automotive or fleet management sectors.

• Strong project management and leadership skills.

• Proven track record of negotiating high-value, enterprise-level contracts.

• In-depth knowledge of the automotive and fleet management industry.

• Outstanding supplier relationship management and negotiation abilities.

• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret data and market insights.

• Experience in budget management and financial analysis.

• Capability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives throughout the organization.
