Strategic Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Oversee the negotiation and management of business relationships with external service supplier companies.

• Establish effective and profitable contractual agreements.

• Participate in the design of solutions for local and multi-national projects.

• Assist program managers in delivering consistent program processes.

• Evaluate suppliers' performance and conduct regular assessments.

• Lead the selection and negotiation processes for service suppliers.

• Formulate strategies and plans for supplier sourcing.

• Execute the service sourcing strategy.

• Manage the program processes, documentation, and contracts related to service suppliers.

• Collaborate closely with regional and country legal teams.

• Contribute to competitive tender events for suppliers.

• Ensure cooperation and collaboration with service managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent qualification.

• Generally, at least 6+ years of relevant experience.

• Experience in procurement or supplier management is an advantage.

• Proficiency in English and the local language.

• Customer-oriented, solution-focused, and commercially astute.

• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
