This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assist in the development of global sourcing strategies for indirect, SG&A, and IT categories, which encompass Information Technology (hardware, software, SaaS, cloud, telecom, and IT services).
• Implement sourcing initiatives on global, regional, and local scales, ensuring a balance between global leverage and regional adaptability.
• Evaluate spend data within SG&A and IT categories to pinpoint trends, risks, and areas for optimization.
• Oversee comprehensive sourcing processes, including RFx development, supplier assessments, negotiations, and award recommendations that align with category strategies.
• Facilitate complete contract lifecycle management, providing negotiation support and aligning commercial terms.
• Act as a reliable procurement partner for both global and regional stakeholders.
• Promote the adoption of procurement policies, tools, and best practices across different regions.
• A BA/BS degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management focused on indirect, SG&A, and IT spend categories.
• Proven experience in supporting or leading RFx events and evaluating supplier proposals.
• In-depth knowledge of IT sourcing models (SaaS, cloud, managed services, and software licensing) is essential.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving abilities; advanced Excel skills are required.
• Comprehensive understanding of indirect and SG&A sourcing models (services, subscriptions, and project-based spending).
• Capability to function effectively within a global, matrixed organization.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills across diverse cultures and time zones.
• Familiarity with contract structures, supplier governance, and risk management principles.
• Capacity to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
