This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Build and sustain profound, consultative relationships with customer executives and security leaders, acting as their primary trusted advisor on cybersecurity issues.
• Discover and highlight opportunities where GuidePoint Security solutions can fulfill customer cybersecurity requirements and business goals.
• Offer expert advice on cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and the development of security programs tailored to the unique environment of each customer.
• Represent GuidePoint Security as a subject matter expert within the cybersecurity community through speaking engagements, publications, and participation in industry events.
• Collaborate closely with sales, delivery, and product teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and promote solution alignment.
• Remain informed about emerging threats, industry trends, and regulatory requirements impacting customers in the region, and proactively share relevant insights with them.
• Act as a senior resource and mentor to colleagues, aiding in the development of best practices, methodologies, and advisory frameworks throughout the organization.
• Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years in advisory, consulting, or senior customer-facing positions.
• Capability to challenge assumptions, clarify objectives, and advocate for measurable results.
• Proven track record in establishing and managing executive-level customer relationships that yield measurable business outcomes.
• Extensive expertise across various cybersecurity domains (e.g., risk management, compliance, incident response, security architecture).
• Strong business insight with the ability to convert technical concepts into business value for a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with C-level executives.
• Established network and reputation within the New York City cybersecurity community.
• Must reside in the New York City metropolitan area.
