This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for leading and overseeing the complete incident management lifecycle, which encompasses detection, triage, escalation, and resolution.

• Facilitate major incident management (MIM) processes and oversee communications.

• Enhance MTTR (Mean Time to Resolution) through automation and process refinement.

• Create and sustain incident response playbooks and runbooks.

• Develop and refine intelligent heatmaps using AI/ML to pinpoint recurring technical issues and prioritize long-term solutions.

• Execute trend analysis and proactively identify problems utilizing observability data and AI.

• Monitor and manage problem records until resolution.

• Oversee change management processes (lead the CAB), ensuring deployments are safe, compliant, and low-risk.

• Establish and uphold change policies, conduct risk assessments, and manage approval workflows.

• Foster continuous improvement in release and deployment methodologies.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of system architecture and monitoring strategies, identifying gaps and opportunities for enhancement.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to bolster system resilience and performance.

• Minimize alert fatigue by enhancing the signal-to-noise ratio within monitoring systems.

• Utilize AI/ML for anomaly detection, predictive alerting, and automated root cause analysis.

• Deploy AI-driven solutions to optimize incident response and operational workflows.

• Examine extensive operational data to uncover patterns and propose enhancements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in IT Operations, SRE, or related roles.

• Strong proficiency in Incident, Problem, and Change Management (ITIL or equivalent frameworks).

• Demonstrated experience in governing and optimizing operational processes.

• AI & Data Expertise: In-depth understanding of AI/ML concepts, including anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and data modeling.

• AIOps Experience: Practical experience with AIOps platforms or developing AI-driven operational solutions (event correlation, alert prioritization).
