Strategic Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain the company’s strategic financial model.

• Act as a crucial support leader for upcoming fundraising initiatives and potential mergers and acquisitions, including modeling, valuation, and due diligence.

• Conduct benchmarking against peers and create profiles of competitors, KPI benchmarks, and market analyses.

• Collaborate directly with the CFO and Executive Leadership Team on forward-looking financial inquiries.

• Create rolling cash forecasts, modeling the timing of drug-related payments.

• Identify liquidity risks and opportunities while influencing capital allocation decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, equity research, or related fields.

• Proven experience in analyzing healthcare or health technology companies.

• Exceptional Excel modeling skills, including the ability to create integrated 3-statement models, valuations, sensitivities, scenario analyses, and unit economics.

• Strong analytical abilities with a knack for addressing diverse and unstructured business challenges.

• Proficient in translating data and analyses into clear narratives for executives, with comfort in presenting to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.

• High degree of ownership, curiosity, and urgency, with the capacity to work independently and manage ambiguity.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
