Strategic Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Maintain a comprehensive three-statement financial model, valuation model, and pertinent industry and market models.

• Facilitate both short-term and long-term business decisions through financial modeling and analysis of investment opportunities.

• Offer strategic insights and recommendations to leadership regarding the company's financial performance.

• Create forecasts and evaluate customer and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)-related metrics.

• Provide thought leadership on the implications of customer and ARR-related metrics.

• Identify financial risks and opportunities through variance analysis, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis.

• Develop and present dashboards, reports, and executive summaries on financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.

• Stay informed on industry, economic, and capital market trends.

• Conduct research and analysis of financial, business, and technology trends both internally and externally.

• Assist in the execution of the Company's long-term financial plan and strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in a senior financial or strategic capacity.

• Experience in Enterprise SaaS within a high-growth setting is preferred.

• Previous experience in investment banking.

• Strong grasp of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Proficient in financial modeling.

• Extensive experience with FP&A and BI analytics tools, such as Adaptive Insights and Power BI.

• Strong business partnering capabilities and the ability to influence cross-functional leaders.

• Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

• Capacity to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

• Preferred: experience working at a Private Equity portfolio company.

• Excellent leadership qualities, judgment, and business acumen.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills.

• Ability to perform market analysis and industry benchmarking.
