This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis, which encompasses financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis. Deliver insights regarding financial performance while identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Aid in the formulation and execution of the company's strategic plan. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with overarching business goals.
• Assist in the budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes by gathering input from various departments, creating and updating financial models, and monitoring performance against the budget.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to facilitate informed decision-making. Present findings and recommendations to Leadership along with the wider Strategic Finance team.
• Prepare and present regular financial reports and presentations for management, shareholders, and other stakeholders. Develop and design new internal and external reporting packages and dashboards.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with relevant teams to implement efficiency measures without compromising key objectives.
• Discover opportunities for enhancing financial processes and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline (CPA or Master’s degree preferred).
• Over 3 years of experience in a mix of Audit at a Big 4 firm, FP&A, or Accounting.
• Strong preference for experience in financial modeling and analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with an executive-level audience.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to draw conclusions and explain key takeaways and recommendations.
• Detail-oriented and proactive, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects effectively.
• Familiarity with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides) and Finance systems (Netsuite, Cube, etc.) is considered a plus.
