Strategic Finance Analyst II, Revenue

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (such as Product, Growth Analytics, Credit, Revenue, and Merchant Pricing) to achieve business objectives through strategic and analytical guidance.

• Develop and sustain financial models to forecast, reconcile, and explain variances across our range of metrics.

• Work alongside our ML modeling team to integrate your models with aggregated ML predictions.

• Set top-line performance metrics and targets, assess and report actual financial performance to Executives and other company leaders, and promote accountability for results.

• Create and present scalable automated user and financial dashboards and analytics for cross-departmental and executive use.

• A strong passion and drive to positively transform the lending and financial sectors.

• A pronounced sense of ownership, intention, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to think both creatively and critically, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work setting.

• Over 2 years of experience in fast-paced analytical roles (including strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, data science, analytics, etc.).

• Outstanding analytical abilities with the capacity to distill complex financial data into clear, concise reports.

• Keen attention to detail alongside a vital ability to maintain a broad perspective and assess analyses within a strategic business framework.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at navigating cross-functional collaborations and engaging directly with company executives.

• A curiosity to create processes, models, and other tools involving AI.

• Experience with merchant payments and/or providing analytical support to B2B client relations and sales teams is a plus.

• Excellent proficiency in Excel (be prepared for a financial model case study), along with comfort in SQL, Sigma, Cursor, and/or other data visualization tools; knowledge of Python is a bonus.
