This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Strategic Communications Specialist is essential in crafting and overseeing multi-channel digital communication campaigns throughout the organization.
• This position requires effective communication across an expanding array of digital platforms while assisting in the development of internal communication strategies that align with various corporate initiatives.
• This entails collaborating directly with leaders from corporate support departments to orchestrate communication campaigns that effectively reach our network of over 650 repair centers and corporate support functions.
• Responsibilities include creating and distributing professional announcements, managing content on our corporate intranet, and designing engaging campaigns that meet deadlines and advance company objectives.
• Develop communication strategies that align with business goals, specifying target audiences, messaging frameworks, timelines, and channel selections.
• Provide support for change management communications relating to new initiatives, rollouts, and organizational updates.
• Collaborate with the Communications team and the Advertising department to design and launch campaigns that enhance the Crash Champions brand for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in crafting internal marketing campaigns aimed at improving team member retention and engagement.
• Work together with various teams across the organization, including senior leadership, to drive projects forward and address requests.
• Consult with department leaders to clarify communication objectives and suggest the most effective methods.
• Write, edit, and proofread content to guarantee clarity, consistency in tone, brand alignment, and adherence to company standards.
• Provide support for urgent communications, time-sensitive announcements, and crisis communications as required, ensuring both accuracy and prompt delivery.
• Maintain uniform messaging and brand voice across all communication platforms.
• Participate in various marketing and communications projects as necessary.
• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, marketing, PR, or a related area is preferred.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proven experience in developing multi-channel communication campaigns (email, intranet, social media, digital signage, video, etc.).
• Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
• Experience in supporting change management communications (organizational updates, rollouts, new programs, process modifications).
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and influence stakeholders across various departments.
• Experience utilizing analytics/metrics to assess campaign performance and enhance engagement (open rates, click rates, intranet engagement, etc.).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); strong PowerPoint skills are preferred.
• Previous experience in a multi-location or field-based organization is preferred.
• Willingness to travel overnight/air as needed, up to 25% of the time.
