Strategic Account Executive – School

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in engagement and implementation initiatives within the largest K–12 districts in the United States.

• Foster strong relationships with principals, instructional coaches, and teacher leaders in designated schools.

• Support school-level planning and ensure the effective deployment of Lexia solutions.

• Collaborate with district implementation teams to convert district priorities into actionable plans at the school level.

• Identify and resolve barriers to usage, aiding schools in meeting fidelity and impact objectives.

• Collect and disseminate success stories and case studies that showcase student achievements.

• Recognize expansion opportunities and acquire new school clients in alignment with the district's strategy.

• Highlight school-level needs and purchasing indicators that shape territory strategy.

• Monitor and share insights on competitive products utilized in schools.

• Ensure accurate documentation of school engagement and opportunities in Salesforce.

• Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Professional Learning teams to synchronize school support.

• Attend school-level meetings and events to exemplify outstanding usage practices.

• Promote Lexia as a reliable partner for enhancing literacy.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Over 5 years of successful experience in education sales, school leadership, or instructional coaching.

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with principals, coaches, and educators.

• Familiarity with technology-driven curriculum products; a background in literacy/reading is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of the Science of Reading and best practices in literacy instruction.

• Understanding of school budgets, purchasing processes, and funding models (such as Title I, state funds, ESSER, etc.).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with educators in school settings.

• Proficient in Salesforce, MS Office, Google Suite, and video conferencing platforms.

• Willingness to travel up to 80%, including overnight stays.
