This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting through to closure, while working closely with clients and team members across strategic accounts.
• Discover, qualify, and pursue opportunities through both outbound and inbound channels within designated strategic segments.
• Provide engaging demonstrations and create customized proposals that resonate with customer objectives and long-term data strategies.
• Partner with marketing, sales engineering, and product teams to facilitate a seamless transition and ensure sustained success.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitive solutions to position Astro as the premier choice.
• Innovate data strategies for Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies.
• Collaborate with partners such as IBM, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Microsoft, and Google.
• A minimum of 8 years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS, data platforms, or cloud solutions.
• At least 5 years of field experience with direct customer engagement.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving or surpassing new business targets in dynamic environments.
• Familiarity with data orchestration, analytics, or similar technologies is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish trust and influence senior stakeholders.
• A proactive approach characterized by determination and accountability.
• Expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
• Bonus points for:
• Experience selling to data teams, developers, or technical decision-makers.
• A background in data orchestration or technologies related to Airflow.
• Previous achievements in a startup or rapidly growing environment.
