This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy for Decagon's healthcare sector, focusing on Payer, Provider, and Life Sciences.

• Secure and finalize contracts with major healthcare organizations in the US, achieving flagship, multi-year, 7-figure deals that establish the vertical's foundation.

• Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with C-suite executives within the healthcare purchasing committee, including CIO, CXO, CMO, COO, Chief AI Officer, Chief Digital Officer, and line-of-business leaders.

• Create and refine the healthcare sales playbook, including ideal customer profiles (ICP), account strategies, qualification criteria, deal structure templates, champion enablement, and competitive narratives for future healthcare sales teams.

• Convert healthcare buyer challenges into ROI cases that your champions can advocate for internally and present to their CFO.

• Predict and accurately report on pipeline and revenue, while incorporating the healthcare buyer's perspective into product and leadership decisions.

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, payer and provider economics, and the competitive AI landscape.

• Anticipate moderate travel requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, with a minimum of 4 years focused on healthcare.

• A proven history of developing business within named Payer, Provider, and/or Life Sciences accounts, including the largest US health plans, integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers, or top 20 pharmaceutical companies.

• Successful experience in complex, multi-stakeholder procurement environments that are security- and compliance-sensitive, including closing 7-figure, multi-year contracts.

• Proficient in managing C-suite relationships over extended sales cycles.

• A playbook creator: you have produced account strategies, qualification frameworks, and deal structure templates that your previous teams have adopted and utilized.

• Comfortable working in an early-stage environment where processes are still being defined, pricing is not set, and product offerings are shaped by the deals you secure. You thrive in situations of ambiguity and open space.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, coupled with the business insight to converse effectively with C-suite executives.
