Storage / Infrastructure Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assess disruptions within storage, SAN, and server environments while managing incidents.

• Ensure the operational stability and high availability of infrastructures, encompassing change, problem, and contingency/emergency management.

• Assist in monitoring, performance analysis, and capacity management to guarantee high-performance, future-proof systems.

• Operate and maintain storage and server infrastructures, executing updates and structured configuration changes.

• Manage backlog tasks and contribute to workshops, technical planning, and requirements analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• A successfully completed degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent vocational training.

• Solid technical foundation in storage and server administration (Linux/Windows).

• Familiarity with SAN technologies and understanding of fundamental concepts such as Fibre Channel, multipathing, and LUN handling.

• Comprehension of virtualized environments, especially virtualization on x86 servers.

• Awareness of basic ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem).

• Proficiency in German.
