Senior Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and enhance the cloud platform relied upon by Webflow's product and engineering teams, encompassing our compute layer, EKS fleet, serverless infrastructure, networking, and cloud operations across AWS and GCP.

• Contribute to the design and upkeep of our infrastructure-as-code foundation, advancing the patterns and shared components that other teams utilize.

• Architect and maintain the networking layer that interconnects Webflow's services, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability throughout our cloud environments.

• Utilize observability data as the cornerstone of our operations, refining the dashboards, alerts, and SLOs for the infrastructure you manage to ensure issues are detected before customers are impacted, with actionable on-call pages.

• Develop and sustain AI-driven automation that enhances the management of cloud infrastructure, encompassing policy-as-code, drift detection, and LLM-assisted runbook generation.

• Play a key role in shaping the culture of this expanding team as it broadens its global footprint.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a background as an infrastructure, site reliability engineer, or cloud engineer with a passion for automation and coding, or as a software engineer with a strong interest in cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.

• Have 5+ years of experience in owning and managing cloud infrastructure in a customer-facing setting that demands minimal to no downtime.

• Demonstrate extensive hands-on experience with AWS and possess a well-defined perspective on effective cloud operations.

• Have experience overseeing Kubernetes clusters at scale, including upgrades, node group management, autoscaling, and the lifecycle of cluster add-ons.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Pulumi or Terraform, with a strong preference for modifications made through code rather than consoles.

• Experience navigating multi-region or multi-cloud environments on AWS or GCP.

• Maintain a curious mindset and openness to growth, showcasing a proactive engagement with AI and actively developing fluency in emerging technologies to enhance our workflows, accelerate outcomes, and broaden collective impact.
