Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – OpenStack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Development and operation of public and private cloud platforms based on OpenStack.

• Conducting problem and error analyses and devising sustainable solutions.

• Management of Ceph-based storage clusters using cephadm.

• Orchestrating all services within our infrastructure using Ansible.

• Regular participation in on-call duty.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed education in computer science (IT specialist HF/FH, federal diploma) or a comparable qualification.

• At least two years of practical experience in operating OpenStack.

• Regular interaction with various Linux distributions.

• Solid experience in networking technologies such as BGP, DNS, NTP, load balancing, and overlay networks.

• Extensive knowledge of container technologies like Docker or Podman.

• Experience in managing SQL databases.

• Familiarity with Ceph, preferably with cephadm and RGW.

• Previous experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.

• Proficient in both German and English.
