Statistical Methods for Data Science, Online Facilitation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• The ideal candidate will serve as an independent contractor for LINC, leveraging their experience as an online educator (LINC Fellow) to support a diverse international student community enrolled in Masters-level programs at top-tier Australian and Asian universities.

• LINC Fellows will be tasked with: Providing subject matter expertise to groups of 25-30 undergraduate online students; Assisting in developing learning skills such as academic writing, research methodologies, and time management; Conducting one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions; Offering guidance on pertinent reference materials; Evaluating assessments with detailed feedback; Managing discussion forums; Delivering proactive, timely, and personalized support for student inquiries and challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of corporate or teaching experience in relevant disciplines at a reputable university or college (Note: Preference will be given to candidates with formal teaching backgrounds in higher education).

• Possession of a PG/Doctoral degree with distinction or first-class honors from a prestigious university in India.

• Proficiency in the English language with outstanding oral and written communication skills.

• Capability to swiftly learn and utilize technology platforms for student interaction, including the host university’s LMS and LINCtrac (training for these platforms will be provided).
