This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Create 2-3 informative, precise, and captivating news and trend articles daily, with a focus on health and wellness topics.
• Work autonomously to propose timely, impactful stories each day that align with search trends and priority areas.
• Collaborate with other writers and editorial leadership to uphold quality standards, reporting directly to a Managing Editor.
• Regularly publish high-performing content that enhances traffic and engagement; proactively refresh articles with new and relevant information as necessary.
• Collaborate across departments with compliance and editors to ensure all articles adhere to brand standards within the assigned vertical.
• Confirm that all content complies with AP Style and Forbes Health's internal editorial style guide.
• Utilize performance metrics and SEO best practices and insights in story pitches, structuring, and reporting.
• Partner with the social media team to enhance story visibility across Forbes Health's social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, and more.
• In-depth knowledge of GLP-1 and CBD, encompassing key industry players, consumer trends, research advancements, and regulatory discussions.
• A well-established network of industry contacts, medical professionals, and expert sources to facilitate timely and authoritative reporting.
• A robust portfolio showcasing clear and accurate reporting within the health and wellness sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to distill complex health and medical information into concise, accessible, and actionable content for a diverse audience.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple daily deadlines without compromising accuracy.
• Adaptable in response to news trends, traffic performance, or editorial guidance.
• Creative judgment that aligns with Forbes Health's editorial tone, voice, and audience-first approach.
