This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Develop engaging and insightful articles centered on business and travel journalism.
• Participate in a dynamic newsroom environment to disseminate press releases from travel industry companies.
• Collaborate with editorial and digital teams to brainstorm and create multimedia content.
• Uphold high editorial standards by proofreading and editing content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency in style.
• Leverage digital platforms for content distribution, implementing SEO best practices and social media strategies.
• A bachelor's degree in journalism, Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in journalism, with a preference for candidates with business journalism backgrounds.
• Proven writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, accompanied by a portfolio of high-quality journalistic work.
• Strong research capabilities and a commitment to journalistic ethics and meticulous fact-checking.
• Proficient in digital publishing platforms, SEO techniques, and social media engagement.
• Exceptional organizational skills, adept at managing multiple projects and adhering to deadlines.
• Self-driven and flexible, capable of thriving in a remote work environment.
• Knowledge of and adherence to Australian public holidays and designated company shutdown periods.
• Remote work Monday to Friday | 6 AM to 3 PM Manila Time
• Recognition of Australian Public holidays
• A shutdown period observed towards the end of the year
