Staff Software Engineer, Web

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define the technical strategy for Instacart's home and search web interfaces.

• Create innovative features that assist customers in discovering new retailers.

• Enhance Core Web Vitals and improve page load performance.

• Optimize SEO and boost organic discovery.

• Collaborate with machine learning and backend teams to present personalized recommendations.

• Provide mentorship to senior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in a senior or staff engineer position.

• In-depth knowledge of modern web technologies (such as React, TypeScript, Next.js, etc.).

• Demonstrated experience in designing and managing large-scale web platforms.

• Capability to thoroughly analyze web performance optimization.

• Experience in leading engineering design reviews.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proven track record in mentoring engineers.
