Staff Software Engineer – Snowflake, AI Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and enhance Snowflake-based data models and pipelines to facilitate Revenue AI and automation applications.

• Create scalable solutions aimed at automating revenue recognition, forecasting, analytics, and reporting processes.

• Integrate Snowflake with ERP systems such as Salesforce and Oracle to support comprehensive Quote-to-Revenue (Q2R) workflows.

• Aid AI/ML-driven analytics by preparing high-quality, governed datasets suitable for advanced modeling and automation.

• Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Accounting, IT, and Data Science teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and adherence to SOX and audit requirements.

• Optimize Snowflake performance, manage costs, and implement security best practices.

• Engage in system upgrades, enhancements, and production support concerning revenue systems and automation.

• Contribute to the creation of documentation, controls, and operational runbooks for enterprise data platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake, covering: Data modeling, Cortex Analyst, Search, Snowflake Intelligence, performance optimization, security and access controls, data sharing, and automation.

• Significant ERP experience, ideally with: Oracle EBS / Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP NetSuite.

• Prior experience in supporting Revenue, Finance, or Accounting sectors, particularly with RevPro or other revenue accounting platforms, is preferred.

• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python is preferred).

• Experience in constructing automated data pipelines utilizing modern ELT/ETL tools.

• Strong grasp of data governance, controls, and audit preparedness.

• Capability to collaborate across functions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with AI/ML analytics and predictive modeling.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Knowledge of contemporary data tools (dbt, Airflow, CI/CD for data platforms).
