Staff Software Engineer – Generative AI Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop and take ownership of essential platform functionalities, user-oriented experiences, and backend services—providing comprehensive features from requirements through to production.

• Lead the architectural and technical strategy for integration-heavy systems, assisting the team in making sustainable choices related to scalability, reliability, maintainability, and operational safety.

• Ensure the reliability and production-ready performance, including safe shutdown procedures and edge-case management, while proactively troubleshooting issues across distributed systems.

• Create secure, compliant integrations and user experiences, focusing on enhanced validation, security fortification, and privacy-centric product modifications.

• Implement user-facing UX enhancements that minimize friction and enhance clarity, ensuring both internal and external tools are quick, intuitive, and accessible.

• Work collaboratively across functions and drive projects to successful completion, partnering with Product, QA, Design, and other engineering teams to achieve roadmap objectives and address high-severity issues.

• Elevate engineering standards through code reviews and technical mentorship, establishing benchmarks for maintainability, observability, and effective integration design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Stack or Backend Developer, preferably with a focus on JavaScript/TypeScript.

• At least 3 years of experience in developing web applications deployed in a cloud environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
