Staff Software Engineer – Backend, CI Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Development and Enhancement of CI Platforms: Design, implement, and uphold essential components of CI pipelines, build systems, and SCM tools (GitLab), ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Ongoing Improvement of Developer Experience: Identify and implement strategies to minimize build times, improve test automation (unit, regression, load), and streamline code review processes.

• Resolution of Complex Problems: Investigate and address incidents and intricate technical challenges related to CI/CD infrastructure and platform, utilizing your expertise to assist the team.

• Technical Collaboration: Collaborate closely with DevEx, SRE, and other engineering teams to integrate solutions, share knowledge, and tackle cross-functional technical challenges.

• Commitment to Engineering Excellence: Actively participate in design reviews, ensure the application of sound coding and architectural practices, and advocate for the technical quality of the team’s outputs.

• Technical Mentorship: Impart knowledge and experience to less experienced engineers, contributing to the overall technical development of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a specialization in CI/CD systems, build pipelines, and source code management (SCM).

• Expertise in software development with practical experience in building and maintaining platform or infrastructure tools.

• Profound understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve intricate issues within distributed environments.

• Skill in influencing and collaborating technically with other engineering teams.

• Proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and delivering impactful solutions.
