This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and address security vulnerabilities and the potential impacts on downstream platforms across various modules prior to production.
• Offer architectural insights across different product areas and make design decisions that span multiple modules.
• Work in partnership with Team Leadership and Architects to convert architectural choices into actionable engineering tasks.
• Draft and refine feature requirements in collaboration with Product and Team Leadership.
• Provide feedback on engineering and coding standards and ensure the team adheres to them.
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers.
• Detect technical debt and advocate for its resolution using a data-driven strategy.
• Manage support for multiple product areas simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
• Establish and maintain expectations for peer code reviews.
• Champion automated integration, end-to-end, and regression testing methodologies.
• Take ownership of and enhance automated build and release pipelines.
• Assist in the maintenance of production applications through bug fixes and enhancements within specified SLAs.
• Produce high-quality software while automating repetitive tasks.
• Share knowledge, pursue continuous learning, and proactively seek to enhance processes.
• Communicate any issues or obstacles that may hinder team success.
• Take responsibility for work outcomes, set realistic expectations, and ensure delivery.
• Foster a positive team culture and support feedback with relevant data and examples.
• Make decisions based on data wherever feasible.
• Proven experience as a senior or staff-level engineer involved in developing and maintaining web applications across various product areas or organizations.
• Strong expertise in Angular and .NET (C#).
• Experience in API design and creating services that are utilized by other teams.
• A solid record of recognizing and mitigating technical risks across multiple codebases or product areas.
• Capability to operate independently, make informed architectural trade-off decisions, and effectively communicate those decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of designing and developing with security as a priority, especially in scenarios involving sensitive client data.
• Experience in mentoring engineers of varying levels and enhancing the overall output of a team.
• Candidate must reside in the United States.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (hosting, services, infrastructure).
• Preferred: Experience with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
• Preferred: Knowledge of GitHub and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Preferred: Background in eDiscovery, legal technology, or similarly regulated/compliance-sensitive fields.
• Preferred: Understanding of eDiscovery workflows, including processing, production, review, and operational coordination.
• Preferred: Experience in designing or managing multi-tenant systems.
• Preferred: Experience in developing orchestration or workflow engine platforms.
• Preferred: Knowledge of real-time alerting or telemetry systems.
• Preferred: Exposure to AI/ML integration within internal operational tools and applications.
