• Configure and manage AWS services, including VPCs, EC2 instances, queues, DocumentDB, load balancers, security groups, Kubernetes clusters, and container repositories, along with implementing network security controls such as firewalls, WAF, and network ACLs.
• Develop and oversee Jenkins jobs and CI/CD pipelines that generate deployment artifacts, including ZIP packages and Docker images; maintain Kubernetes deployment configurations (kubectl, YAML).
• Create Linux utility scripts to aid in cluster management, automate deployments and operational tasks, and resolve infrastructure issues across distributed environments.
• Design and sustain applications using C#, T-SQL, Vue, HTML, and CSS; troubleshoot issues throughout the full stack, including UI, API, database, messaging, and deployment layers.
• Construct and support core application services utilizing ServiceStack and the LLBLGen ORM data-access layer; customize and maintain platform-integrated applications like Umbraco and Identity Server.
• Manage and troubleshoot integrations between internal systems and external platforms; oversee Git-based source control workflows (GitHub/GitLab), including branching, code reviews, and coordinated deployments.
• Utilize SQL Server and T-SQL for querying, troubleshooting, and supporting application data.
• Provide support for MongoDB/DocumentDB document storage and analyze relational and document database usage across application services.
• Design and facilitate event-driven, message-oriented architecture using MassTransit over message brokers such as Amazon SQS, RabbitMQ, and Apache MQ across distributed application services.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Devin) for coding, debugging, documentation, and PR workflows to significantly enhance team productivity.
• Review, validate, and oversee AI-generated code and infrastructure-as-code; assess emerging AI productivity tools and recommend their integration across engineering teams.
• Adjust deployment processes and engineering methodologies as platform requirements and tools evolve.

• Lead technical decisions and provide hands-on support for complex, cross-functional challenges from development through production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to establish technical direction, plan coordinated releases, and onboard and develop team members.
• Over 8 years of experience in software, DevOps, or platform engineering, including tenure as a senior individual contributor or technical lead, with hands-on AWS infrastructure management (VPCs, EC2, Kubernetes, load balancers, and network security controls like firewalls, WAF, and network ACLs).
• Strong full-stack development capabilities in C# and T-SQL, including practical experience in building services with ServiceStack and the LLBLGen ORM, along with supporting skills in Vue, HTML, and CSS, and the ability to troubleshoot across UI, API, database, messaging, and deployment layers.
• Established CI/CD experience with Jenkins and solid command of Docker and Kubernetes operations (kubectl, YAML deployment configurations), along with Linux scripting for operational tasks.
• Experience with SQL Server, MongoDB/DocumentDB, and event-based, message-driven systems (MassTransit, Amazon SQS, RabbitMQ, or Apache MQ).
• Proficiency in Git-based source control workflows (GitHub or GitLab), including branching strategies, code reviews, and coordinated deployments.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead technical decisions, balancing hands-on contributions with guidance and team development.
• Demonstrated use of AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Devin) to expedite development and enhance code quality in daily engineering tasks.
• Familiarity with CMS and identity management platforms such as Umbraco and Identity Server.
• Experience supporting complex distributed applications from development through deployment and production troubleshooting.
• Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
• Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
• Flexible work arrangements and a supportive team environment.
• Access to cutting-edge technologies and innovative projects.
