Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive web solutions by working on both the frontend and backend using Angular and Java with Spring Boot.

• Assess business requirements and propose technical solutions that align with project objectives.

• Develop, test, document, and maintain applications that are scalable, secure, and high-performing.

• Build and utilize REST APIs.

• Engage in code reviews, provide technical estimations, and participate in architectural discussions.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of development processes and the quality of deliverables.

• Collaborate in agile teams utilizing Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher (technologist, undergraduate, and/or postgraduate — with specialization, master’s, or PhD) in Information Technology.

• Extensive experience in full-cycle development (both frontend and backend).

• Demonstrated expertise with Angular (version 10 or higher).

• Proficient in Java 8 or higher and Spring Boot.

• Experience in developing RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and transaction management.

• Competence in HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Proficient in working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL.

• Knowledge of object-relational mapping using JPA/Hibernate.

• Experience in documenting APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Proficiency in using Docker for application containerization.

• Familiar with source code version control using Git (including branches, pull requests, and merge requests).

• Experience with unit and integration testing, including:

• Frontend: Jasmine and Karma;

• Backend: JUnit and Mockito.

• Understanding of development best practices, such as clean code, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
