Staff Software Engineer – AI-Native Full-Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product teams, executive leadership, design, sales, and marketing to simplify the development of essential solutions.

• Advocate for AI development methodologies and guide the engineering organization in leveraging AI to enhance sprint efficiency and code quality.

• Create and maintain systems that function reliably at scale while ensuring top-notch security.

• Partner with leadership to establish a cohesive technical vision and foster a culture of excellence and agility.

• Evaluate pull requests and shape the future architecture of systems, focusing on transitioning from legacy monolithic structures to a modern stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in large-scale services developed with Ruby, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PHP.

• Comprehensive understanding of distributed systems, relational databases (MySQL/Postgres), and AWS infrastructure (Aurora, RDS, SQS).

• AI-driven workflow: you utilize AI (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) as a key collaborator in the development process, allowing you to skip repetitive tasks and concentrate on significant architectural challenges.

• Capability to represent the engineering team effectively in critical discussions with non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.
