Staff Software Engineer – AI CICD

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from conception to execution, collaborating closely with the Product team and our Experience (front-end) team throughout the design, implementation, rollout, and iterative processes.

• Tackle ambiguous challenges and establish a clear direction. You demonstrate initiative by addressing issues proactively rather than waiting for comprehensive specifications.

• Contribute to a product-focused roadmap with real deadlines: assist the team in prioritizing trade-offs and delivering iteratively instead of waiting for a flawless solution.

• Expand Chainguard's agentic AI foundation into customer-facing product experiences across the entire product suite.

• Bring a robust technical perspective to architectural decisions while fostering a collaborative spirit when engaging with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in software development.

• Proficiency with containers, artifact registries, Docker, Kubernetes, and its broader ecosystem.

• Experience in building and securing CI/CD systems.

• Proficient in Go (Golang) or a strong willingness to learn quickly.

• Experience with AI tools and a genuine passion for applying them to intricate problems.

• Eagerness to collaborate closely with the Product team and customers to introduce new features.

• Excellent communication skills, fluency in English, ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively seek assistance when necessary.
