Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain AI-driven search, summarization, and chat applications for the internal AI-centric search and chat platform.

• Construct or integrate intelligent AI systems that utilize multi-step reasoning, tool invocation, or autonomous workflows.

• Execute information-retrieval solutions featuring vector-based searching, relevance ranking, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

• Design production-ready AI applications in Python that integrate with AWS services.

• Create and optimize OpenSearch/Elasticsearch indexes for both semantic and keyword search applications.

• Assess, adjust, and enhance AI models and system performance through rigorous experimentation.

• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of overall IT or software engineering experience.

• At least 2 years of recent experience in AI or ML solutions.

• Demonstrated expertise in Python.

• Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda, SageMaker, Glue, and S3.

• Practical experience with OpenSearch and/or Elasticsearch.

• Knowledge of vector databases and vector search methodologies, including embeddings and similarity search.

• Candidates must possess work authorization in Poland that does not currently or in the future require visa sponsorship.

• Successful completion of a background check, as mandated for the position.

• Capability to engage in virtual interviews conducted via video.
