Staff Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire development lifecycle for new features — from conceptualization to deployment — while ensuring code quality, maintainability, and performance throughout the full stack.

• Establish, deploy, and oversee scalable cloud infrastructure to facilitate application functionality and accommodate growth, employing automation whenever feasible.

• Guarantee that service performance meets SLA requirements through proactive monitoring and effective incident response.

• Facilitate discussions on high-level and component-level architecture, documenting designs, and ensuring alignment with both business and technical objectives.

• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Architecture teams to ensure development aligns with strategic goals.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers regarding development best practices, cloud infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, encompassing full-stack development and cloud infrastructure.

• Proficient in frameworks such as React or Angular, C#/.Net Core, scalable API design, and both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Extensive experience in architectural design, performance optimization, and system reliability.

• Skilled in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform/CloudFormation), Kubernetes, and Docker.

• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the capability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
