This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee engineering operations standards, CI/CD and release governance, the development of SLO/SLI frameworks, operational readiness criteria, DevSecOps practices, and ensure reliability within the delivery model.
• Provide leadership in relevant technical areas, which include cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, source control, identity and access management, observability, security automation, API runtime operations, support for security assessments, remediation tracking, access reviews, vulnerability responses, FedRAMP compliance or equivalent security alignments, and support escalation methods.
• Implement DevSecOps methodologies throughout the lifecycle, encompassing iterative delivery, continuous integration and deployment, security shifted left, design-based security, automated security testing, continuous monitoring, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
• Establish and uphold release readiness and completion criteria for various elements including platform, infrastructure, pipelines, APIs, dashboards, documentation, AI-enabled services, and security artifacts.
• Facilitate automated testing expectations, which include CI/CD-integrated unit, lint, smoke, functional, performance, accessibility, and security tests, aiming for at least 80 percent automated test coverage for code deliverables unless an alternative is approved by the customer.
• Promote observability and proactive operational pathways for service health, incident trends, performance metrics, deployment risks, platform reliability, security posture, support escalation, and recovery based on runbooks.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders and cloud or platform partners regarding cloud governance, architecture reviews, account management, logging, backups, patching, vulnerability scanning, cost management, and authorized cloud service utilization.
