Staff Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop new capabilities for our REST API and enhance AWS infrastructure utilizing a contemporary technology stack, including C# and AWS CloudFormation.

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, and QA teams to implement new features and improve platform functionalities.

• Engage in our pull request review process, ensuring high standards of code quality while providing constructive feedback and mentorship to team members.

• Enhance application performance, scalability, and responsiveness when working with large datasets.

• Create cloud-native functionalities using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and Redshift.

• Streamline deployments and CI/CD processes through Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.

• Detect and address performance issues while maintaining high availability and reliability of the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development.

• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., C#, Java, or C++).

• Practical experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and Redshift.

• Knowledge of ELT/ETL processes and the complexities involved in managing large-scale datasets.

• Strong grasp of software design principles and engineering best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to developing clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

• Strong English communication skills and the capability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• A minimum of B2-level English proficiency is required.
